CERTIFICATE IN PROBLEM CRAFTNG
|
Curriculum design is another critical aspect of an
academic’s professional portfolio and development.
Candidates must submit a portfolio of problems that
contain the following:
1.
Samples of 5 problem packages that have been
internally reviewed by the respective department’s
curriculum team (candidate must be the primary author if the
problems are co-developed).
2.
Critique of 2 of the problems submitted that showcase
the candidate’s understanding of students’ inquiry paths and
rationale for the design of the problem.
3.
Evidence of students’ responses (such as
presentations and discussion notes) to selected problems.
4.
Samples of understanding test questions and student’
responses that demonstrate the link between the problem
objectives and desired assessment outcomes.
5.
Review of problems earlier submitted (for those
undergoing subsequent certification).
