The RP Mobile Computing Loan (MCL) Scheme is opened to all full-time students studying in Republic Polytechnic.

· RP Mobile Computing Loan is free of charge and is awarded on a case by case, need basis

· Applicant's combined family income does not exceed S$1,500 per month

· Applicant to accept ANY notebook loaned to them at the sole discretion of the Polytechnic

· Applicant is required to sign a loan agreement together with a guarantor with an income of at least S$1,000

· Guarantor must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; aged between 21 and 60 years old

· Guarantor must not be an un-discharged bankrupt

· Upon successful application, applicant is required to pay a security deposit of S$200 for the duration of the loan.

The Office of Student and Graduate Affairs shall have the sole discretion over the review and approval of all applications.

Q1: Can I still apply for RP Mobile Computing Loan if my combined household income is more than $1500?
